I wanted to share my first exsperience doing the photography video call trend. Essentially this trend is where you video call from either you phone camera, laptop camera, etc. Take screenshots for photos (some photographers will use their cameras to take a photo of the device video sharing). Then share their video call photo session.
For my first video call session, we decided to use Skype on our laptops. My model and I had a bunch of laughs hanging out in her balcony. The laptop was a bit trick to work with, so we even got her boyfriend living with her to hold our ‘camera’ to help us shoot. Through more laughs and lost signals, we ended up with these gorgeous shots! I had to rely on the laptop’s auto lighting settings and natural lighting. I knew the quality was going to be very choppy and full of harsh pixels. Even so, I wanted to do my best with what we had.
In the end, I loved the results and we both had a wonderful time.
