Presenting our next Horoscope Collection, TAURUS. The first sign In the astrological cycle.
THE MOVEMENT OF THE HOROSCOPE COLLECTION IS ABOUT USING THE MODERN MEDIUM OF PHOTOGRAPHY TO TELL THE STORIES OF THE ORIGINAL MYTHOLOGIES. THE CONSTELLATIONS WERE STUDIED AND VIEWED AS MYTHOLOGICAL STORIES. DIFFERENT CULTURES, COUNTRIES, AND REGIONS HAD THEIR OWN DEPICTIONS AS WELL. GETTING TO LEARN ABOUT EACH ONE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RIVETING. WHILE EDUCATING MYSELF, I GOT TO LEARN HOW IN-DEPTH THESE ZODIACS REALLY ARE.
THE MOST PROMINENT AND SIMPLEST OF DEPICTION OF THE ENTIRE WESTERN ZODIAC. THE TAURUS IS THAT OF A BULL’S HEAD.
FOR MY PHOTOGRAPHY CHOICES, I DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING MORE SIMPLE AND DOWN TO EARTH. I CREATED THE BULL HORNS MYSELF. WE ENTERED MUD LAKE AND FOUND THE DRYER SIDE OF THE FOREST TO BE IN. WITH THE PREVIOUS SIGN ARIES (THE RAM OF GOLD AND SUN, LOOKING BACK TOWARD TAURUS. IT SEEMED ONLY FITTING TO DO THE SHOOT AND SUNSET. JUST PEAKING ENOUGH FROM THE DISTANCE TO ENTER THE IMAGE AND NOT BE THE MAIN FOCUS. I REALLY ENJOYED EDITING AN ARTISTIC LOOK FOR THESE IMAGES. IN TOTAL RESULTING IN A DOWN TO EARTH YET PROMINENT STRONG IMPRESSION. VERY MUCH LIKE THE BULL

The constellation of Taurus the bull has been identified with many cultures (Druid, Babylonian, Egyptian, Greek, etc). As far back at 15,000 BC, drawings on the walls in the caves of Lascaux depict Taurus with the star cluster known as the Pleiades.”
”Bulls live in places where there is enough vegetation cover for consumption. Grasslands, open spaces with bushes and shrubs, pastures, farms, and ranches make suitable habitats for bulls.”
