Presenting our next Horoscope Collection, LIBRA.
THE MOVEMENT OF THE HOROSCOPE COLLECTION IS ABOUT USING THE MODERN MEDIUM OF PHOTOGRAPHY TO TELL THE STORIES OF THE ORIGINAL MYTHOLOGIES. THE CONSTELLATIONS WERE STUDIED AND VIEWED AS MYTHOLOGICAL STORIES. DIFFERENT CULTURES, COUNTRIES, AND REGIONS HAD THEIR OWN DEPICTIONS AS WELL. GETTING TO LEARN ABOUT EACH ONE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RIVETING. WHILE EDUCATING MYSELF, I GOT TO LEARN HOW IN-DEPTH THESE ZODIACS REALLY ARE.
THE DEPICTION OF LIBRA IS A BALANCING SCALE. MORE SPECIFICALLY AS MUL ZIBANU OR THE SCALES OF JUSTICE.
LIBRA SYMBOLISM
FOR MY PHOTOGRAPHY CHOICES, I DECIDED TO LEAN TOWARDS LADY JUSTICE. I WANTED THE IMPRESSION TO BE MORE ABOUT THE SCALE AND THE EMBODIMENT OF THE SCALE. CREATING LIFE OUT OF AN OBJECT. THE HOROSCOPE LIBRA IS AN AIR SIGN WITH THE COLOUR REPRESENTATION OF LIGHT PINK AND LIGHT BLUE.
LIBRA WAS THE SYMBOL OF JUSTICE, BALANCE, THE SCALE. HELD BY BOTH VIRGO AND THEMIS. CREATING PERSONIFICATION IN GREEK MYTHOLOGY AS THE LADY OF JUSTICE. EYES COVERED. HER JUSTICE IS UNBIAS AND BLIND. I PLAYED INTO THAT WITH ADDING RIBBON OVER THE EYES. PAINTING HER HANDS SILVER AND ADDING SILVER SPARKLES. ATTEMPTING TO CREATE A MEDAL OR METALIC LOOK. FOR SHE IS TO EMBODY THE SCALE.
The intertwining of Virgo and Libra! Often intertwined. The lady justice. Libra is that of a scale. A tool of unbiased, blind, justice. A tool used by Virgo. Virgo wanted to do what she could to help humans till she could no more. Libra, on the other hand, is the unwavering justice. Right vs Wrong. Seeing in black and white. Not wavering by emotion or attachment. A tool by the goddesses for absolutes in fairness for justice.

SUCH AN AMAZING Model COLLABORATION. Two models, who’ve never done a photoshoot before, knocked it out of the park!
EDUARDA WAS ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! A COMPLETE SWEETHEART! SHE FOLLOWED ALONG WITH PLACEMENT BEAUTIFULLY. EVERY POINT, HOLD, and accentuation TRULY HAD FULL HEART IN IT. EDUARDA IS INCREDIBLY TALENTED IN BEING EXPRESSIVE. CONTINUOUSLY BEING ABLE TO CAPTIVATE ON CAMERA. ATTENTIVE TO THE STORY AND DEDICATED TO THE ARTISTIC MISSION. IT WAS SO HARD TO NARROW PHOTOS DOWN TO WHAT WE HAVE HERE.

Helping in set styling, time management, portability, behind-the-scenes, assisting in lights, props, placement, navigation, and more!
