Questions

What are some of your favorite hobbies?
My favorite hobbies include anything creative. Currently, I have been putting a lot of my focus into bullet journaling, playing the ukulele, writing poetry and filming.


Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years I see myself with a  fulfilling career, whether that be with something creative or something related to developmental disabilities, both two things that I am very passionate about, I would be completely content doing either! As long as I’m busy being happy I think I’ll be okay!

What song have you been repeatedly listening to lately?
A song that has been on repeat for me recently has been Secret Garden by Izzard (ft. Merival)

If you were to pass down a legacy, what would you want that to be?
A legacy that I would want to pass down, that I try to promote constantly is to remember to be kind, generous and loving - not only to others but to yourself too.

Why do you think I chose you to be a part of my series “ICON OTTAWA”
I was thinking about this for some time actually, and to be honest I get quite bashful or embarrassed with compliments, which is what I would consider this! But I think I was chosen on account of just how prevalent and active I am on social media, prodominantely Instagram. On my social media I try to promote self love, being unapologetically yourself and kindness! I’d like to think that that had something to do with it, but it may have also had something to do with my fashion and sheer amount of selfies that I post!

The reason I chose Tejah,

I can see that she has become quite the inspiration. I believe, without her truly realizing. She carries a mind that when faced with the harsh negativities of the world; looks through it and reaches out potentials and possibilities. Hence, choosing a garden is best suited for this natural beauty. She grows from hardships and perseveres.

Tejah's ICON goes with great meaning. To look ahead and see a golden horizon. The destination of where she is going in life. Even if she may not know all that there is to come; there is a happiness that makes everything worthwhile in the end
